Summary
HoldIT Jack is a male-retention self-tracking app designed to be completely private. The app has no account, no sign-in, no servers, and no network connection. Everything you track stays on your device. We — the developer — never see, collect, receive, or transmit any of your data.
What data the app stores
The app stores the following only on your device, so it can show you your history, streaks, insights, and badges:
- Retention sessions (start and stop dates, and an optional note).
- Daily self-logs (energy, urges, hardness, kegels, intimate-activity flags, and guided-kegel counts).
- Earned badges and your app preferences/settings.
This information is stored locally using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData) and standard app preferences. It is not uploaded anywhere.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, transmit, sell, share, or have any access to your personal data. The app contains:
- No analytics or tracking of any kind.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party SDKs that collect data.
- No account system and no login.
Because the app makes no network requests, your data never leaves your device by way of the app.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local notifications on your device (for example, a daily reminder to log your day and alerts when you earn a badge). These are generated and delivered entirely on your device and are not sent through us or any third party. You can disable notifications at any time in the iOS Settings app.
How your data moves and how it is deleted
- App updates: Updating the app from the App Store keeps all of your data. Your history is migrated forward and is never erased by an update.
- New device / restore: Setting up a new iPhone via Quick Start or restoring an encrypted iPhone backup carries your data over. This is handled by Apple, not by the app or the developer.
- iCloud / device backups: If you back up your iPhone, your app data may be included in that backup. Those backups are controlled by Apple and your own settings, not by the app.
- Deleting your data: There is no in-app erase. To permanently delete all of your data, delete the app from your iPhone. This wipes all sessions, logs, and badges. Deleted data cannot be recovered unless it was included in a backup you made beforehand.
Children
This app is intended for adults and is rated 17+. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone (we do not collect information from any user at all).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here and the "Effective date" above will be revised.
